What we help with
We work with a range of concerns, and we go deeper than a single protocol — each has its own dedicated page:
quiet the alarm, not just manage it.
Work with what the body still holds, at your pace.
Break the cycle and actually reconnect.
quiet the alarm, not just manage it.
specialized, whole-person support.
How we work
Why CAP
Talking matters — but for a lot of what people carry, insight isn't the missing piece. Trauma, anxiety, and stress don't only live in your thoughts; they live in the body and in patterns that run faster than words. So alongside conversation, we work with art (to reach what's hard to say) and the body (to settle a nervous system stuck on alert).
This is a genuine specialty, not a gimmick. Our senior clinicians are board-certified art therapists (ATR-BC) and licensed creative arts therapists (LCAT), with certified training in Somatic Experiencing (SEP) and Gestalt (CGT) — a depth of credentialing very few NYC practices hold. You're matched with a clinician trained to use it well.

We name what’s driving it, so it stops feeling random.
Image-making reaches what words can’t, and gives it somewhere to go.
Somatic work helps your nervous system feel safe again, not just think it’s safe.
What to expect
Brooklyn has never done things the standard way — a borough of makers, independents, and people building life on their own terms. Testimonials

As a coach, CAP is my first call when clients need deeper support. The clinical sophistication sets them apart—they understand the nervous system in a way that creates real, lasting change.

CAP fills an essential gap—engaging both the cognitive and creative brain for a holistic, deeply authentic healing experience. Jenn and the team are warm, down-to-earth, and exceptional.

CAP quite literally changed my life. I'd tried therapists before but couldn't open up—Jenn created a space so safe I finally could. It laid the foundation for years of growth.
